eWaste Recycling
Building a cell phone cemetery in your desk drawer because you are constantly changing phones? Need to get rid of those old batteries
from PDAs, digital cameras, laptops, cordless phones, or hand tools? Have piles of discarded ink and toner?
Well, get rid of them! Bring them in to one of our In-Store recycling centers!
In-Store recycling centers are located in 12 Willard Bldg and Ground Floor HUB, University Park.
Bring us your used portable rechargeable batteries, old personal cell phones, and used inks and toners for recycling and help keep them out of our nation’s solid waste stream and preserve out natural resources.
Recycle Rechargeable Batteries and Cell Phones
Rechargeable batteries are commonly found in cordless power tools, personal cellular phones*, cordless phones, laptop computers, camcorders, digital cameras, PDAs and remote control toys. Look on the battery pack for the following battery chemistries: Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead (Pb).
Remember, if it's rechargeable, it's recyclable!
Recycle empty inkjet & toner cartridges
Bring us your non-biodegradable ink and toner cartridges and we will send them away to be recycled.
Note: Batteries and personal cell phones can be placed in the recycling bin in our HUB or Willard ShowRooms. Inks and toners can be given to a store employee.
*In-store Recycling of cell phones are for personal cell phones only. University owned cell phones must be
turned in to Lion Surplus along with a completed disposition (DISP) form. |
